Heather Sander

Heather Sander has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Heather is currently serving as the National Mathematics Curriculum Specialist at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning), a position they started in May 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Pearson from 2014 to 2020, where they held the role of National Mathematics Curriculum Specialist, responsible for creating engaging sales presentations and conducting specialist and educator trainings. Before joining Pearson, Heather worked as a Math Specialist in the West Region from 2014 to 2018.

Earlier in their career, Heather worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Kyrene Elementary School District from 2005 to 2014, and as a 4th Grade Teacher at Douglas County School District from 1997 to 2004. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proactive and dynamic approach to their work.

Heather Sander attended the University of Colorado Denver from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
