Marie Ojofeitimi, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Marie started their career in 2013 as a Teacher at Jumpstart and worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Teach For America - Metro Atlanta as a Teach for America member and continued in this role until 2017. Following this, Marie worked as a Secondary Literacy Education Professional at Fulton County Schools from 2015 to 2018. Marie then transitioned to Purpose Built Schools in 2018, where they served as a Literacy Leader until 2022. Currently, Marie is employed as a Professional Learning Content Developer (Literacy) at Savvas Learning Company.

Marie Ojofeitimi, M.Ed. has a comprehensive education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Marie began their educational journey at York College of the City University of New York, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language, Literature, and Communication in an unspecified year. Later, Marie pursued a Master of Science degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education from 2017 to 2019. Their field of study during this period was Secondary Literacy Education & Technology. Currently, Marie is attending Georgia State University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Teaching and Learning, specifically focusing on Teaching & Teacher Education. This program is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2026.
