Rick Lucas

Rick Lucas is an experienced leader in digital publishing, currently serving as Director at Savvas Learning Co since May 2020. Previously, Rick held multiple roles at Pearson from 2004, including Director of Digital Publishing, where strategic leadership and resource management were key responsibilities. As Manager of Interactive Media, Rick created and oversaw the Interactive Media division, managing extensive teams and building long-term vendor partnerships. Earlier experiences at Pearson as Senior Producer and Producer involved leading diverse teams to develop large-scale, interactive digital projects and applying instructional design principles. Prior to Pearson, Rick was Managing Editor at Corpedia, where editorial standards and voice were established, and began a writing career there after contributing to a town paper in Wilmington, NC. Rick holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from East Carolina University.
