Vesselina Nikiforova

Vesselina Nikiforova has a strong background in finance and accounting with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Vesselina currently serves as the VP Controller at Savvas Learning Company, where they are responsible for overseeing financial operations. Before joining Savvas Learning Company, Vesselina worked at Baker Hughes as a Controller, providing support to the commercial and finance teams and focusing on the interpretation and assessment of complex transactions. Prior to that, they served as the VP Technical & Transaction Advisory at GE Capital, overseeing technical and transaction advisory functions. Vesselina also has experience working at PwC as a Director of Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, where they led diverse teams in assisting clients with LBOs and private debt offerings. Vesselina provided post-transaction support for business combinations and played a key role in developing SEC and debt covenants reporting. Earlier in their career, Vesselina held the position of Senior Manager - Accounting Policies and Technical Research at ABM Industries, where they developed accounting policies and assessed complex transactions. Vesselina also worked as a Director at KPMG, where they gained valuable expertise in the field of accounting. Throughout their career, Vesselina has demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex financial matters.

Vesselina Nikiforova holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from Varna University of Economics. Vesselina also possesses a Technical degree in Computer Science from UKTC. Furthermore, Vesselina has obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Office of the Professions in NY State.
