Joost Vermeulen

Joost Vermeulen has a long history of working in the IT and software engineering fields. Joost began their career in 1999 as a software developer for TUNIX. In 2003, they became the vice-voorzitter/secretaris for Thalia. From 2006 to 2009, they worked for First8 as a Java Software Engineer / Systeembeheerder and for Student Union AKKU as Penningmeester. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer for Tele2 Nederland and in 2019 they took a similar role at T-Mobile Nederland. In 2020, they were a Software Developer for InterNLnet and in 2021 they became a DevOps Engineer for Savvii Managed WordPress Hosting.

Joost Vermeulen attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained an ing in Computerscience. From 2001 to 2007, they attended Radboud University. Joost also holds a Zend Certified PHP Engineer certification from Zend Technologies.
