Raymond C. Jia

Raymond C. Jia has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering, IT management, and founding startups. In 1997, they worked as a Software Engineer and Manager at Ebix CRM (formerly E-Z Data, Inc.), where they made significant contributions to the development of core products in Java and C++. In 2005, they became the IT Manager at Bank of the West, where they led a team of software engineers to develop and implement enterprise information systems. In 2010, they founded WhichSchool LLC, a website that provides parents and home buyers information on school performance, demographics, and community. Also in 2010, they founded Jarvus, Inc., a social networking app based on sharing photos, memes, and comments. In 2012, they became the Chief Engineer at textPlus, Inc., where they worked on integrating Jarvus with TextPlus. In 2013, they founded Cloud Communications LLC. Lastly, in 2015, they founded Savvy Stack, Inc., a full service software development studio specializing in building Alexa Skills and designing and implementing voice interactivity.

Raymond C. Jia attended Peking University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
