Prior to joining Saw Mill, Kathy was the founder and President of LeanOn Consulting® LLC where she focused on helping business owners improve their productivity and competitiveness. Prior to forming LeanOn in 2013, Kathy spent 25+ years in General Management (P&L Owner), Business Process Improvement, Project Management and Quality roles at the Department of Defense, Panduit Corp and First Alert.
In the past 3 years, Kathy has worked with a number of SMC Portfolio Companies helping drive process improvement efforts on the manufacturing floor as well as in the back-office areas.
Kathy earned a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University where she was inducted in to the Alpha Pi Mu Industrial Engineering Honor Society. Kathy is certified as a GE Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Leader, IRCA Quality Auditor and ASQ Quality Engineer.
