Tim Nelson is a seasoned private equity professional with extensive experience in lower middle market investments, currently serving as a Partner at Saw Mill Capital LLC since August 2003. Specializing in the industrial services, professional services, and engineered products sectors, Tim has a strong background that includes previous roles as an Associate at PA Early Stage Partners, focusing on venture capital for early-stage technology and life sciences companies, and at CIVC Partners, where investments targeted manufacturing and services businesses. Earlier in their career, Tim worked as a Financial Analyst at William Blair & Company, a middle-market investment bank. Tim holds an MBA in Strategy and Organization Management from The Wharton School and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
