Ben Nyssen has a diverse work experience in various engineering and managerial roles.
Ben started their career at Intel Corporation in 2002 as a MECOP Intern.
After that, they worked at GE from 2005 to 2006 as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for production line management, supplier quality, and head fixture design.
From 2006 to 2010, Ben worked at Gerber Legendary Blades as a Senior Product Design Engineer. Their responsibilities included leading product design, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and generating product design briefs.
Ben then joined Williams Controls in 2010 as a Manufacturing Engineer IV.
In 2011, Ben moved to Gerber, where they held various roles such as Engineering Manager, Senior New Product Development Manager, and Director of Product Development.
From 2016 to 2021, they owned their own company, Nyssen.
Ben worked as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Riverpoint Medical from 2021 to 2022.
Currently, they are a Senior Product Development Engineer at SawStop, starting in 2022.
Ben Nyssen attended Oregon State University from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2009, they enrolled in The Art Institutes to pursue a degree in Industrial Design, but it is unclear whether they completed this program or when it ended.
