Colin O'Callaghan has had significant experience as a mechanical engineer, with a focus on design and product development. Colin started their career at Sivetz Coffee in 2006 and then moved on to work at Stark Engineering Inc as a mechanical engineer from 2009 to 2012. Colin then joined Mobile Technologies Inc. (MTI) as a mechanical engineer and later became the lead engineer, overseeing the entire design process of security equipment for clients like Apple and Best Buy. Colin worked at MTI from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Colin owned and worked as a mechanical engineer at 428 Roasters from 2013 to 2014. Colin then joined USNR as a controls engineer in 2015 before transitioning to Ergotron as a design engineer, where they were responsible for managing engineering projects, designing new products, and resolving design issues. Colin then worked as a mechanical engineer at DWFritz Automation in 2018 before joining Cornell Pump, a Roper Technologies company, as a design engineer in 2019. Most recently, they started working at SawStop in 2023 as a product development engineer.

Colin O'Callaghan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. Colin completed their education at the university from 2002 to 2006.
