Tyler Howell has a diverse work experience starting from 2019 as an Embedded Software Engineer at SawStop. From 2009 to 2019, they worked at LEGACY CONTRACTING INC as a Shop Foreman and Superintendent, where they built and repaired concrete and wooden bridges. Tyler gained experience in operating heavy machinery, large power tools, and automotive repair. From 2015 to 2016, Tyler worked at George Fox University as a Machine Shop Supervisor, ensuring safety and proper use of machines and helping students with custom parts for their projects. Tyler also served as a Teaching Assistant for sophomore engineering students, teaching digital logic concepts, Verilog coding, and debugging. In 2015, they worked as an Intern at Jet Reports, creating instructional videos on Power BI.

Tyler Howell completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Management from George Fox University in the years 2012 to 2016. Tyler then pursued their Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2017 to 2019.
