Keith Jones, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Keith started their career in the U.S. Army in 1982 and served as a Colonel for over 26 years. During their military service, they held various leadership positions, including Deputy G4 at U.S. Army Forces Command and Colonel (R) at the U.S. Army.
After leaving the military, Keith worked as a Commander at DLA-Central Command, where they significantly expanded the organization and grew sales from $50 million to over $500 million annually. Keith also served as a Colonel at the FORSCOM G4, Transportation, Operations, Plans, and Concepts Division Chief.
Continuing their career, Keith joined Eagle Systems and Services as a Program Manager for the OPRTARSS II Program and Senior Program Manager for Ground Forces Training. Keith also worked as an Independent consultant, specializing in Business Development and Project Management for Logistics and Operations Opportunities.
Keith then joined The Red Team as a Consultant and later became the President of SAWTST, LLC. In their role as the President, they were responsible for the daily internal and external operations of the organization, which had over 100 employees and supported customers worldwide. Additionally, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at SAWTST and was responsible for overseeing the organization's $8.5 million-valued operations and managing three direct reports.
Throughout their career, Keith demonstrated expertise in logistics, operations, project management, and business development.
Keith Jones, PMP has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Transportation from The University of Alabama, graduating in 1982. Before attending university, Keith completed their high school education at North Clayton High School in Riverdale, GA from 1977 to 1978 and Arlington High School from 1975 to 1977. Mr. Saxton continued his service by instituting a policy to hire Veterans First and has grown the organization by hiring the right PEOPLE, streamlining the best PROCESSES, and implementing innovative TECHNOLOGIES. SAWTST provides Information Technology and Logistics Services through eight core capabilities; these core capabilities are based on proven experience serving our customers within the Department of Defense (DoD).
