Michael Markgren

Michael Markgren has a diverse work experience. Michael currently serves as the Director of Finance at Sawyer County, Wisconsin. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Manager at the School District of Altoona from 2014 to 2022. From 2007 to 2014, they held the position of Business Manager at Spooner Area School District. Before entering the field of education, they worked as a Contractor at Markgren Enterprises from 2006 to 2007. Their early career involved serving as a Youth Pastor and Administrator at Cornerstone Church Spooner, WI from 2000 to 2006.

Michael Markgren received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting/Business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1991. Michael later pursued a Master of Education degree in Education from the same institution, completing it in 2008.
