Previously, Kirchhofer was the Controller for The Travel Agency: A Cannabis Store from April 2023 to February 2025 and founded Accounting By Design, offering full-service accounting to small businesses with a specialization in the cannabis industry, from November 2021 to March 2023. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Financial Analyst at Avis Budget Group, Vice President Finance and Director of Finance at Engineered Security Systems, and Senior Account Manager at Find A Way. Early career experience includes financial reporting and tax internships. Kirchhofer holds an MBA in Accounting from Saint John's University and a BA in Music from Queens College.
