Daniel Townsend

Daniel Townsend has a diverse work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President- Corporate Controller at Saxco International LLC since November 2020.

Prior to this, Daniel served as the Vice President Finance at NCE Holdings from May 2019 to November 2020. Here, they provided financial leadership to the CEO and Private Equity Investors, prepared consolidated financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, and managed the external financial audit engagement.

From April 2017 to May 2019, Daniel worked as the Controller, Western Region at Monterey Mushrooms, Inc. This position involved managing a high-performance team and overseeing financial operations for a large mushroom spawn bio research and fresh mushroom production company.

Before joining Monterey Mushrooms, Daniel held the role of Senior Finance Manager at AAA from May 2016 to February 2017. Here, they contributed to the company's revenue generation and strategic efforts in autonomous vehicle research and ride-share technology.

Daniel's work experience also includes a stint at Hewlett Packard Enterprises where they served as FP&A- HP Cloud Computing from July 2014 to February 2016. In this role, Daniel collaborated with cross-functional teams on contract development and invoicing for cloud services.

Daniel Townsend has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, Daniel earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the West Texas A&M University College of Business.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certificate in "Getting Started | Fundamentals" from Planful, Inc. in May 2022. In January 2019, Daniel completed the "AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native" course and received a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates.
