Andreas Poellen

Andreas Poellen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in M&A and corporate finance. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Country Head for Saxenhammer since October 2024, Andreas Poellen focuses on M&A and corporate finance transactions for mid-sized businesses. As a Lecturer at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences since January 2021, Andreas Poellen teaches various subjects related to international corporate finance. Previous roles include Managing Director for the Domestic Market at Edmond de Rothschild, where co-leadership of the Zurich team was undertaken, and Director at BNP Paribas CIB, where advice was provided to major Swiss corporates on M&A and debt financing. Additionally, Andreas Poellen worked as an Independent Financial Advisor and CFO a.i. in 2018. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Sustainability Studies from IMD and a Master of Business Studies in Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Kent.
