Richard Shackcloth

Richard Shackcloth is a Partner at Sayers. Richard was previously the Australian Platforms Leader and a member of the Global Integrated Solutions Leadership Team at PwC Australia from July 2016 to July 2020. Richard was responsible for developing and executing the strategy to configure complex, cross capability technology backed solutions to address our clients' most strategic imperatives across Customer Led Growth, Productivity, The Future of Work, Finance Function Transformation, Risk, Cyber, Cloud and Deals.

From July 2012 to June 2016, Richard Shackcloth was the Management Consulting Leader at PwC Australia, leading the 800+ strong Management Consulting business through a period of consistent 15% growth per annum. Across this period 40 partners were admitted into the business through a combination of internal promotions and talent acquisition. The period included the aquisition of the Booz&Co business which was merged with the PwC Strategy practice and spun-off into a separate Strategy& business.

From July 2010 to June 2012, Richard Shackcloth was the Strategy Consulting Leader at PwC Australia.

Richard Shackcloth has a proteus program from the London Business School, a PwC leadership program from INSEAD, and a joint honours in accounting and law from The University of Manchester. Richard is also a chartered accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has placed top ten in order of merit for intermediate exams from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
