Viviana Montoya

Viviana Montoya is currently an Associate at Sayers. Viviana previously worked as an Account Assistant at EduTravel Inc. from January 2019 to March 2020. There, they were responsible for creating invoices and tracking overdue accounts, researching and resolving billing and collections disputes, daily receipting and allocation of payments, processing and payment of supplier invoices, and performing daily bank reconciliations and preparation of cash reports.

Prior to their work at EduTravel Inc., Viviana was a Senior Auditor at KPMG en Colombia from July 2013 to April 2018. In that role, they examined financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations, computed taxes owed, prepared tax returns, and ensured that taxes were paid properly and on time. Viviana also inspected account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures, assessed financial operations and made best-practices recommendations to management, and suggested ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits. Additionally, Viviana was responsible for reviewing internal control systems of companies under the COSO model, monitoring of SOX control under Sarbanes Oxley, and staff management and training.

Before their work at KPMG en Colombia, Viviana was an Accounting Bookkeeper at MB Interntional PTY LTD.

Viviana Montoya completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Universidad del Atlántico. Viviana then completed a Diploma in Finance, General at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali. Viviana then completed a Diploma of Accounting at Australian Pacific College.
