August Lin

August Lin is an engineer at Saykara. Prior to Saykara, August worked as a Senior iOS Engineer at Nuance Communications from February 2021 to June 2021. At Nuance Communications, August worked on the integration of Nuance Mobile dictation App (Dragon) and Saykara Doctor's Voice Assistant App, as well as the redesign of audio streaming infrastructure.

From October 2017 to February 2021, August was a Senior iOS Engineer at Saykara. At Saykara, August developed a hand-free scribe iOS app for a physician with secure audio streaming (RTMPS) and speech recognizer. August also audited source code and penetration tested on Saykara products, including the iOS app and platform integrated third party health care origination. Lastly, August provided serverless services of PHI format converter on AWS and Azure Platform.

Prior to Saykara, August worked as a Security Software Engineer at NewSky Security Inc from May 2015 to October 2017. As a Security Software Engineer, August was a Cyber Security Penetration Tester and Code Auditor. August also developed automated Android and IOS applications to test a RF system which can identify the randomized MAC address of an Android or iPhone device. In addition, August customized a VPN client and deployed it in POS terminals to protect them from MITM attacks. Furthermore, August analyzed potential impact of new threats and exploits for companies like Zillow, T-mobile etc. Lastly, August performed Mobile and Web

August Lin studied computer science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. August first attended Northwest A&F University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science. August then went on to Southern University and A&M College- Baton Rouge to earn a Master's degree in computer science.
