Daniel Cantu

Daniel Cantu is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an MWD Field Engineer at SB Directional Services since June 2021. Previously, Cantu worked as an MWD Field Specialist at MS Directional from May 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, Cantu held the position of EMI Scan Manager, Operator, and Sales for Advanced Hydrostatic Services, LLC, focusing on hydrostatic testing and electromagnetic pipe inspection services in the Eagleford Shale region. Cantu's career also includes a role as a Production Chemical Technician and Sales at Coastal Chemical Company, LLC, where skills in customer service and problem-solving were developed. Cantu’s foundational experience includes serving as a Staff Sergeant and Squad Leader in the United States Army from May 2000 to September 2010. Education includes studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Freer High School.
