Joel Harvester

Joel Harvester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and GIS solutions. Currently serving as Senior Manager of the PMO at SB Energy since January 2023, Joel previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from November 2017 to January 2023. Prior roles include GIS Project Lead at the City of Memphis and GIS team lead at Bechtel Civil Infrastructure, where contributions involved developing GIS solutions for high-profile projects. Joel managed a $15 million aerial telecommunications construction project as Project Manager at Atlantic Engineering Group, and conducted environmental investigations as an Environmental Scientist/GIS Lead at Seagull Environmental Technologies, Inc. Joel began a career in environmental studies as a Research Associate at the Great Basin Institute and worked as a GIS Technician/Fieldwork Aide at the Kansas Biological Survey. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Fine Arts from The University of Kansas and a high school diploma from Newton High School.
