James Ou

James Ou has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. James is currently working as a Principal Data Warehouse Architect at SBA Communications since September 2021. Prior to that, they spent 14 years at Citrix, where they held the role of BI Development Manager. In this role, they played a crucial role in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions, implementing self-service BI initiatives, and transforming on-premises data warehouses to cloud data platforms. James also managed various data and intelligence teams to support sales, marketing, and finance analytics and reporting. Before joining Citrix, James worked at Bank of America as a Hyperion Consultant and System Architect from July 2005 to February 2007. James also served as a Senior Hyperion System Analyst at Rogers from July 2002 to July 2005. James started their career at Unisys, where they worked as an Information Systems Principal Consultant and Project Manager from January 1996 to January 2001. In this role, they led and managed retail banking projects for major banks in China, overseeing the full project implementation cycle.

James Ou obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Atlantic University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information System (MIS) from Zhejiang Gongshang University. In addition to their educational background, James also holds the following certifications: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate from Databricks, obtained in June 2023 (twice), and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft, obtained in August 2021.
