Malou Sjörin

Malou Sjörin has extensive work experience in the fields of sustainability, marketing, communication, and public affairs. Currently, they hold the position of Styrelseledamot at BOOLI SEARCH TECHNOLOGIES AB. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Sustainability, Marketing & Communication at SBAB Bank AB (publ), where they were responsible for managing a major budget and ensuring compliance with stock exchange regulations. Before joining SBAB Bank AB, Malou was the Senior Vice President of Communication at SJ AB, where they led a team of 15 employees and oversaw brand management, public affairs, and internal and external communication. Malou also held key positions at Trygg-Hansa, including Corporate Communication & Reputation Director, Nordic Head of External Communications and Public Affairs, and Head of Media Relations in Sweden. In these roles, they managed customer complaints, digital customer service, sustainability initiatives, public affairs, and external communication. Earlier in their career, Malou worked at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as the Head of Communication and as a Management Consultant, specializing in change management, internal communication, strategic PR, and sales.

Malou Sjörin began their education in 1995 at the Stockholm School of Economics, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Financing & Accounting. Malou completed their studies in 1998. In 2003, Sjörin enrolled at Mid Sweden University for complementary studies in the Science of Media and Communications, which they completed in the following year. In 2018, they attended the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education for an Executive Leadership Program in the field of Business. Their educational journey continued in 2020 at Swedsec, where they obtained a Bolånelicens in Banking.
