Imtiaz Rahman

Imtiaz Rahman has a strong background in the banking and technology sectors. Imtiaz began their career at ICDDR,B in 2003 as a Data Management Assistant. Imtiaz then moved to the Department of Women Affairs, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, where they worked as a Programmer. In 2005, Imtiaz returned to ICDDR,B as a Senior Data Management Assistant and eventually became a Data Management Officer.

In 2008, Imtiaz joined The Premier Bank Limited as an Officer and worked their way up to become a Senior Officer and then a First Executive Officer. In 2013, they transitioned to South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce Bank Limited, starting as a Senior Executive Officer. Imtiaz quickly advanced to become a First Assistant Vice President and later an Assistant Vice President.

Currently, Imtiaz holds the role of First Vice President at South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce Bank Limited, where they are responsible for managing security infrastructure. This includes configuring and maintaining network security devices, implementing security technologies, and monitoring security logs and events.

Imtiaz Rahman's education history is as follows:

Imtiaz Rahman obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree from the National University in 2000 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the same institution in 1999. In 1995, Imtiaz Rahman completed their Higher Secondary Certificate from Shahid Sohrawardi College, and in 1993, they completed their High School education from Govt. Science College.

In addition to their formal education, Imtiaz Rahman has also obtained several certifications. Imtiaz completed the "Building an effective cybersecurity team" certification from the International Telecommunication Union in June 2021. In December 2016, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council. Furthermore, Imtiaz Rahman obtained the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification from Red Hat in August 2008. In September 2007, they completed the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco, and in July 2007, they obtained the Cisco Network Academy Program (CNAP) certification, also from Cisco.
