Angie Deas

Angie Deas has extensive work experience in data and analytics. Angie started their career at First American Financial Corporation, where they worked as an Analyst from 2003 to 2004 and as a Finance Manager from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, they joined the State Board of Administration of Florida as a Senior Analyst, and later became the Manager of Data and Analytics in 2011. In this role, they led a team in evaluating and transforming the enterprise data architecture, implementing statistical software for multi-asset investment types, and developing an enterprise risk function for the pension fund after the financial crisis in 2008.

Angie then took on the role of Director of Data and Analytics in 2018, where they continued to lead cross-functional teams and transform data management, analysis, and reporting. Angie developed an executable roadmap for a mature data and analytics ecosystem aligned with strategic objectives.
