Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson has extensive experience in internal auditing and financial oversight, currently serving as the Audit Committee Chair for the State Board of Administration of Florida, where responsibilities include managing $228 billion in assets. Mark has held various leadership roles within the Institute of Internal Auditors - Central Florida Chapter and is the Treasurer for the Crealdé School of Art. Previous positions include Director of Internal Audit at Orlando Utilities Commission, where Mark led numerous audits across diverse operational areas, and Director of Internal Audit at NetBank. Mark also founded an executive recruiting practice and contributed as Treasurer for KIBALE UGANDA DEVELOPMENT UNION INC. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
