Roman Bucher

Roman Bucher has extensive experience in system engineering and project management within the railway and electronics sectors. Since September 2018, Roman serves as Leiter System Engineering für Sicherungsanlagen und Zugbeeinflussung at SBB CFF FFS, leading a team focused on control, command, and signaling in railways. Prior roles include contributing to the development of the European Train Control System (ETCS) and leading hardware development at ennos ag, where Roman managed international teams. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bern and a Master of Science in Engineering from Berner Fachhochschule BFH, alongside earlier academic accomplishments in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
