Stephan Weibel

Stephan Weibel is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, compliance, and governance. Since March 2016, Stephan has served as the Head of Group Legal & Compliance at SBB CFF FFS, leading a team of 10 legal experts and managing diverse legal matters including corporate transactions, employment law, public procurement, and corporate governance. In previous roles, Stephan worked as Senior Legal Counsel at SBB, played a key role in M&A transactions, and advised on compliance and competition law. Prior to this, Stephan was a Senior Associate at Baker & McKenzie, specializing in corporate counseling and transaction management. Educational credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and multiple law degrees from the University of Bern and the University of Zurich.
