Bert Brouwers

Bert Brouwers is a Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and technical safety. Currently serving as a Guest Professor at KU Leuven since 2016, Bert delivers lectures on safety aspects of industrial mechanical installations. Previously, Bert held a position as an R&D Manager at GRAMMER Electronics, where they managed a multidisciplinary engineering team in the development of mechatronic products. They also served as a Senior Consultant in Technical Safety at Agidens, specializing in process safety and machinery compliance. Bert's academic background includes a Master of Science in Engineering, providing a strong foundation for their hands-on industry expertise.
