Timofey Cherkasov

Timofey Cherkasov has extensive experience in IT management, primarily within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of Foreign IT at Sberbank CIB since March 2008, Timofey is responsible for overseeing IT operations in foreign offices, managing project portfolios, and engaging in business initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Sberbank CIB, where Timofey managed multiple projects and teams, and Project Manager at BNP Paribas, leading a significant integration project between Western and Russian banking systems. Early career experience at Banking Information Systems involved interfacing international and local banking systems, while positions at Applied Biosystems and IPEX focused on software engineering and IT consulting. Timofey holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Moscow State University, earned between 1988 and 1994.
