Maxim Yeremenko

Maxim Yeremenko is an accomplished data science and risk management professional with extensive experience at Sberbank since 2005. Currently serving as VP, Chief Data Scientist, and Head of AI/ML, Maxim established and leads the Ecosystem wide AI Transformation Program, focusing on implementing AI/ML technologies to enhance customer journeys and drive business growth, achieving over USD 4 billion in operating income. Previously, Maxim headed the Risk Modelling Department, overseeing IRB compliant model development across multiple regions and portfolio segments, and played a key role in implementing ICAAP frameworks and Big Data projects to improve risk predictions. Starting as a Corporate Credit Risk analyst, Maxim accrued comprehensive expertise in credit risk modeling and compliance with Basel regulations. Maxim holds a Master's degree in Mathematical application for economics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
