Margarita Parris, CPA, currently serves as a CAS Senior Associate at SBF since February 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Controller at Sentrics, where responsibilities encompassed executing monthly and yearly close processes, cash reconciliations, GL reviews, and maintaining compliance across multiple states. Margarita also played a key role in training employees on Accounts Payable processes and integrating subsidiaries into Avalara Avatax. Earlier positions include Accounts Payable Contractor and Staff Accountant at Sentrics, as well as Tax Intern at Dickinson & McDonald, PA. Margarita holds a Master of Accountancy from Stetson University and additional educational credentials from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and The University of the South.
