Abhijit Das

Abhijit Das has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Abhijit is currently working as the Head of Credit Cards & Payment Technology at IDFC FIRST Bank since 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at SBI Card, including Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Vice President of Information Technology, and Assistant Vice President of Information Technology. At SBI Card, Abhijit was involved in designing and implementing an Enterprise Data Lake using Hadoop, demerging from GE Capital, and managing the IT requirements of the pre-acquisition vertical. Before joining SBI Card, Abhijit worked as a Manager at ICICI Bank, where they led the expansion of MasterCard ICA and implemented various systems and processes. Abhijit also worked as a Senior Technical Analyst at OCBC Bank, where they led the migration of settlement processing systems. Abhijit's career started at SLMsoft Inc. as a Team Lead, where they implemented the Financial Transaction Switch in emerging market geographies. Abhijit also worked as a Research Fellow at DRDO, where they worked on timing and tele-command systems. Abhijit has a strong background in information technology and has worked on various projects throughout their career.

Abhijit Das obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Utkal University from 1993 to 1997.
