Subhendu Kumar Bal

Subhendu has completed his postgraduation in Statistics from Calcutta University. He is currently President of the prestigious Institute of Actuaries of India.

Subhendu has worked for three private insurance companies and the Life Insurance Corporation of India before moving to SBI Life. He has given more than 28 years to the life insurance industry. He has worked in various roles including Appointed Actuary at SBI Life and contributed immensely to the growth of the company.

When Subhendu is not working or teaching at a management institute as a visiting faculty, he enjoys watching sports. He also takes the time out to read and stay up to date with global news.
