Abanti Halder

Abanti Halder is an experienced designer currently employed at Study by Janak since January 2017, with a prior role at KS Knitfabs from June 2016 to December 2016. Throughout the career, Abanti has engaged in buyer interactions, swatch development, product development, and production process corrections. A notable design collection on ethnic bridal wear was completed in 2016, inspired by Mughal architecture and focusing on machine and hand embroidery. An internship at Chanakya International Pvt. Ltd. in 2015 provided valuable insights into women’s wear and embroidery techniques, while a project on the METAKA craft cluster in 2014 enhanced knowledge of traditional Indian crafts. Educational background includes a high school degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hijli High School, IIT Kharagpur, completed in 2012.
