Jia Rong Zhu

Jia Rong Zhu possesses extensive experience in architecture and model making, currently serving as Architectural Job Captain at SBLM Architects since October 2019. Previous roles include Architectural Model Maker at Lenon Models Inc, where full fabrication of architectural models was performed, and assisting the model team at Diller Scofidio + Renfro for a key project at the Venice Biennale 2018. Other notable positions include Model Maker at Brooklyn Model Works Inc, Junior Architect at FZAD Architecture & Design, Digital 3D Modeler at Haluk Akakce, and a Construction Helper at Design Built Company. Zhu began an architectural career during an internship at BOSS Studio. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and an Advanced Regents Diploma in Architecture from Brooklyn Technical High School.
