Edwin Van Der Heijden

Edwin Van Der Heijden serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SBM Life Science, having transitioned from the position of President for North America. Notably, Edwin drove the strategic shift to a decentralized, regional model after spearheading the establishment of SBM as a standalone entity. Prior to SBM, Edwin held multiple leadership roles at Diversey, including President North America, where efforts led to significant growth in the Food & Beverage sector despite pandemic challenges. Edwin's career also included a promotion to Vice President of Hospitality and Food Service in the U.S., managing sizable teams and achieving substantial sales growth. Additionally, Edwin has a solid foundation in marketing from previous roles at DSM and possesses advanced degrees in International Business and Marketing from Tilburg University.
