Giorgio Marignoli

Giorgio Marignoli has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Giorgio started their career in 1997 at Bianconi Ospitalità, where they managed water plant operations for over 15 years. In 2013, they worked as an Engineer-Energy consultant at Engineering Service System Italia. The following year, they served as a Temporary Research Associate at Università degli Studi di Perugia. Since 2014, they have been employed at SBM Offshore, initially as a Mechanical and Rotating Equipment Engineer, where they developed and managed the Rotating Equipment Events Database. Currently, they hold the position of Topsides Utilities and Power Generation System Lead at SBM Offshore.

Giorgio Marignoli holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy from Università degli Studi di Perugia. Giorgio also completed a professional training program at the Professional Training Center Bicomega in Plants Design for Energy Saving in 2013. As part of the Erasmus Exchange Programme, they studied Renewable Energy-Biomasses at Technische Universität Berlin. In addition to their education, Giorgio has obtained certifications including HUET OPITO and STCW from Falck Safety Services (Global). Giorgio is also pursuing a Professional Engineering Qualification from Università degli Studi di Perugia.
