Zhang Peng

Zhang Peng (Bourne) has extensive experience in quality assurance and project engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at SBM Offshore since March 2020, Zhang has previously held positions as a Project Quality Engineer at DPI Pte Ltd and Quality Assurance Engineer at GE Power Conversion, where involvement included several Petrobras FPSO projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at OOGTK, a Hull Inspector at Cotemar, and Hull and NDT Supervisor at IHI Corporation, with a focus on new building ship projects. Zhang's career initiated at Dalian Oriental Shipbuilding as Shipyard Project QC Lead for offshore drilling rig newbuilding projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Shipbuilding and Oceanography Engineering from Dalian Ocean University.
