Austin Bechtold

Austin Bechtold is a versatile media professional currently serving as a producer and part-time host for The Joe Starkey Show on sports radio 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, while also working as a play-by-play broadcaster for KDKA+ and JRM Video Production. With extensive experience in sports journalism, Bechtold has contributed as a writer for Pittsburgh Sports Now and SB Nation's Bucs Dugout, and has held roles as an announcer for the Fighting Highlanders Sports Network and Washington & Jefferson College. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Sports Media from Waynesburg University and ongoing studies for a Master's in Strategic Communication at Penn State University.
