Michael Peters

Michael Peters is a seasoned sports writer with extensive experience in various roles within journalism. Currently serving as a Staff Writer for California Golden Blogs (SBNation) since July 2015, Michael covers news and analysis for University of California-Berkeley men's basketball, football, and recruiting, while also writing about high school football players committed to Cal and former Golden Bears in the NFL. As a freelance sports writer since November 2014, Michael has contributed to publications such as the Midland Reporter Telegram and Corpus Christi Caller Times. Additional writing experience includes tenure at We Are Hooligans (FanSided) and various roles in sports journalism at San Antonio Express-News, Mesquite-News, and The Ranger. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as degrees in Communication-Journalism and Liberal Arts from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and San Antonio College, respectively.
