Simon Cunich

Simon Cunich is an experienced producer, shooter, and editor specializing in documentary filmmaking. Currently serving as a Producer/Shooter/Editor for SBS News Documentaries since August 2023, Simon previously produced the investigative true crime podcast "The Greatest Menace" for Audible from January 2019 to February 2023. Simon has held various roles at SBS Australia, including freelance producer for "The Feed," and has worked as a documentary filmmaker with Heirloom Films and as a documentary editor for GoodChat TV. Additionally, Simon contributed to the University of Canberra as a tutor and visiting fellow focused on documentary production. Simon's early career includes television production at Prime Media Group from 2012 to 2014. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of Sydney and ongoing education at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
