Dan Forck

Dan Forck has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information technology, focusing on information security. Dan started their career at Citizens Bank & Trust in 2000 as a Helpdesk Operator and gradually advanced to the role of Network Analyst I and Network Analyst II. In these roles, they were responsible for patch management, conducting security assessments, developing IT policies, and providing technical support. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Network Services Officer/Sr. Network Analyst, where they provided the highest tier technical support for the Network Services Division and handled VMWare ESX administration, mobile device management, and business continuity for IT. In 2010, they were promoted to the role of VP/Information Security Officer, where they took on additional responsibilities such as implementing and maintaining the information security program, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and acting as a liaison for audits and examinations. Dan also played a crucial role in designing security controls and implementing a security awareness program for all employees. Currently, Dan Forck is working as a Senior Information Technology Officer at BTC Bank, starting from April 2023.

Dan Forck completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Truman State University, graduating in 1998. Along with their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) from EC-Council. Prior to that, in 2015, they acquired the GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials (GISO) certification from GIAC Certifications. In 2011, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2010, they completed the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA, as well as the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA. Additionally, in the same year, they attained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
