Ngoh Peng Guan

Head, Risk & Sustainability & Head, Bus Support at SBS Transit

Mr Ngoh Peng Guan is the Head of Risk and Sustainability, an appointment that he assumed in 2021. He also holds a concurrent appointment as Head of Bus Support. In his more than 26 years with the Company, he has amassed considerable and wide-ranging experience in the public bus industry. From Service Planning to System Development, he had also headed Operations Development, Depot Operations and Service Performance. He played an integral role in launching the industry's first state-of-the-art public bus fleet management system in 2007. In his current role, he spearheads programmes and initiatives in support of the Company’s sustainability goals and journey where he holds overall responsibilities for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters. Peng Guan continues to work closely with the Land Transport Authority in support of its Green MasterPlan.

Besides a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, he holds a Master of Science in Transportation Systems and Management from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland. He has also completed a Public Transportation Service and Operations Planning programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA. He is a Chartered Member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
