Direk Tayakee

Direk Tayakee has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Direk began their career as an Analysis Programmer at Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS) in 2004. Direk then worked as a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they joined the PTT Group as an IT Consultant from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Direk returned to AIS as an IT Specialist, where they served as the Product Owner for exploration technology in the Digital Life Solution Department. Direk managed the entire product line lifecycle and led a team in developing mobile and web applications.

From 2015 to 2016, Direk worked on a confidential project as part of a partnership between Groupe SEB and IAE. Direk then joined Rabbit Digital Group as the Business Director of Code & Craft Co., Ltd, where they led various teams in software and website development, UX/UI design, account management, and project management.

In 2017, Direk joined Siam Commercial Bank as a Product Owner, responsible for managing specific products. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Technology and Living Solutions at SC Asset Corporation PLC., a real estate developer aiming to improve the living experience for Thais through digital disruption.

Direk Tayakee holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Université de Lyon. Direk also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Marketing of Innovative Technology from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole. Furthermore, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Assumption University. In addition to their formal education, Direk has obtained certifications including a Certificate of Research in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, a User Experience Certified from Nielsen Norman Group, and a Java Standard Edition 5 Programmer Certified Professional (SCJP) from Sun Microsystems. Direk also studied Management Science at Toulouse School of Management.
