Dustin Welch

Dustin Welch, MHA, PAHM, has extensive experience in healthcare administration and provider relations. Currently serving as the Director of Medicaid Managed Care Operations at the SC Department of Health and Human Services since September 2014, Dustin has held multiple roles including Program Manager and Program Coordinator II. Prior experience includes positions at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina from January 2010 to September 2014 as a Senior Provider Relations Representative, where responsibilities involved provider education regarding South Carolina Medicaid and the development of training materials. Earlier roles included a Provider Relations Representative at Kelly Services and a background in public relations with a BA from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Webster University.
