Matt Bell

Matt Bell is an experienced executive in the field of research and investment, currently serving as the Executive Director of the SC Launch Inc. Investment Fund at the SCRA: South Carolina Research Authority since March 2021. Previously, Matt held the position of Managing Director at the University of Illinois' Discovery Partners Institute from June 2019 to February 2021 and at Cultivian Sandbox Ventures from January 2013 to June 2019. Early career roles include Licensing Specialist and Business Startup Specialist at The University of Michigan, as well as Internet Portal Marketing Analyst at Associated Network Partners, Inc. Matt's foundational experience includes working as a Sales Support Agronomist at GROWMARK, Inc., and as Farm Manager for Bell Farms. Matt holds an MBA from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from the same institution.
