Ryan Phillips

Ryan Phillips currently holds the position of Director of Information Security Risk at Protective Life since June 2021, following a significant tenure at Surgical Care Affiliates that began in April 2008. At Surgical Care Affiliates, Ryan has advanced through various roles, including contributions as Cash Accounting Manager, IT Audit Manager, and Senior Auditor. Key achievements include managing the Cash Management team, partnering with IT on complex audit projects, and establishing effective audit procedures and process improvements. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Internal Auditor at Regions Financial Corporation, where Ryan oversaw multiple audit engagements and developed initial audit programs.
