Stefan Wichmann

Stefan Wichmann is a seasoned professional in software development and project management, currently serving as a Partner at SCADA MINDS since October 2018. Previously, from February 2009 to October 2018, Stefan held various leadership roles at Otto (GmbH & Co KG), including Technical Lead, where responsibilities encompassed leading a team of developers in the creation of a large-scale ERP system, scaling order processing to over 200,000 daily transactions, and implementing agile processes per SCRUM standards. In addition, Stefan has experience as a Lead Project Manager and Domain Lead at Otto, optimizing organizational structures and leading the migration of legacy systems. Prior roles include Architect and Integration Manager at SportScheck, where Stefan designed a comprehensive SAP installation, and Integration Manager at bonprix Handelsgesellschaft mbH, overseeing the integration of numerous non-SAP systems. Stefan began a career in academia as a Research Assistant at the University of Muenster, focusing on cancer research technologies. Stefan earned a Diplom in Informatik from the University of Muenster in 2008.
