Tim Appleby

Tim Appleby has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Sr. UX Designer at Scala since September 2021. Before joining Scala, they worked at Verizon for four years from 2017 to 2021. At Verizon, Tim initially served as a Product Design Intern, contributing to the ideation and strategy for new products and user experiences. Tim then transitioned to a Product Designer role, where they were responsible for research, concept design, and building the design process. Additionally, Tim worked as a Graphic Designer at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from August 2016 to December 2016, creating various advertisements, flyers, and digital media. Prior to their time at Verizon, Tim was a Solutions Architect Intern at Verizon from May 2014 to August 2016, where they researched and developed methods for implementing enterprise location-based services within an IoT platform and developed responsive web applications for client network pricing. Tim also gained experience as a Content Analyst at East Stroudsburg University from February 2016 to May 2016 and as a Web Design & Strategy Intern at Contempo Web Service from October 2013 to March 2014.

Tim Appleby attended Marple Newtown Senior High School, but it is unclear when they started or finished. In 2013, they enrolled at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where they studied Digital Media Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017. In the same year, they also briefly attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Computer Science.
